This workshop is a follow-up to the Trauma-Informed Practices for Schools (TIPS) training that Expanded Learning staff received in the 2019-2020 school year. It is designed to provide participants with an understanding of how to use a trauma-lens to identify the needs of students impacted by trauma as a result of COVID-19 and other traumas as well as build resilience in youth. The workshop will address the needs of all students, however it will also highlight specific strategies that relate to improving outcomes for students in foster care and other marginalized groups. Participants will receive strategies and resources that can be used in distance learning or face-to-face settings.

The webinar link will be emailed to registered participants one (1) business day before the session.

The same training is offered on October 23rd, November 16th, and February 5th.
