Our communities are defined and thrive through our collective commitment to take care of them. Our youth play an integral role. High Quality Service Learning (HQSL) provides a pathway for students to value and take ownership of their neighborhoods, communities, and world.

In this session, attendees will explore the seven elements of HQSL, as established by Stanford University: Integrated Learning: Student Voice, High-Quality Service, Civic Responsibility, Collaboration, Reflection, and Evaluation. Attendees will gain a greater understanding of how to shift from short-term service projects to enriching civic experiences that empower youth and young people to show their community and world how much and why it MATTERS.

Presented by Every Monday Matters (EMM).

The Zoom meeting link will be sent to registered participants 1 business day prior to the event.
