What is the STEAM Learning Series: The STEAM Learning Series exists to support all Expanded Learning staff who wish to strengthen their understanding and confidence with STEAM content and practices with the purpose of creating positive STEAM learning environments for the youth in their programs. The STEAM Learning Series focuses on the importance of strategies and mindsets that each practitioner should have as they implement these opportunities.

This session will: 

* Inform as to what is the Engineering Design Process

* Engage with a hands-on design challenge 

* Support the process of group learning

2. Please allow for 15-20 minutes to park, check in at front desk with photo ID, and get to meeting room
3. Layer clothing as rooms run hot and cold
4. Wi fi is available; laptops, tablets, etc. are encouraged for note taking
