Per(EC) Section 32281(a) every kindergarten through grade twelve school, public and public charter, including community and court schools, must develop and maintain a CSSP designed to address campus risks, prepare for emergencies, and create a safe, secure learning environment for students and school personnel. Topics in this session include: Overview of the Comprehensive School Safety Plan, timelines and components of the CSSP, potential impacts of the CSSP on Expanded Learning Programs, Expanded Learning Program’s best practices and considerations for student and staff safety.
