Region 11 CQI ToolkitThe Continuous Quality Improvement (CQI) Toolkit was developed for
the CQI Pilot Project through the partnership between the California Department
of Education’s (CDE) Expanded Learning Division (EXLD) and the Los Angeles
County Office of Education’s (LACOE) Expanded Learning Technical Assistance Unit
(ELTAU). Six districts and agencies participated in the 18 month (August
2018-February 2020) pilot project with a goal of improving the understanding
and implementation of CQI at the site level. Specific
content was shared with pilot participants throughout the series, and the
content has now been packaged into a toolkit for others to utilize. Webinars,
tools, and resources were developed and curated to help improve the
implementation of CQI, while using CDE’s “Quality Standards for ExpandedLearning in California: Creating and Implementing a Shared Vision of Quality”
to frame the process. The
toolkit contains three webinars: 1) Assess Phase, 2) Plan Phase: Data Analysis,
and 3) Plan Phase: SMART Goals and Action Planning. The webinars reference and
explain how to use each of the subsequent resources in each phase.
