Join us for this four-part learning series to design high-quality, responsive Expanded Learning programing! This professional development learning opportunity will emphasize the Quality Standards for Expanded Learning in California as a guiding framework to assess quality programming for After School Education and Safety (ASES), 21st Century Community Learning Centers (21st CCLC), and Expanded Learning Opportunities (ELO) Programs. Attendees will gain foundational knowledge of both Point-of-Service and Programmatic Quality Standards, best practices, and an understanding of the connection between the Quality Standards and grant assurances. Attendees will walk away with elements and ideas to add to their comprehensive program plans.

This four-part learning series will take place as follows:

October 2, 2024 - Part 1: Standards covered: Active and Engaged Learning; Skill Building; Youth Voice and Leadership

Oct 31, 2024 - Part 2: Safe and Supportive Environment; Healthy Choices and Behaviors; Diversity, Access and Equity

November 14, 2024 - Part 3: Quality Staff; Clear Vision, Mission and Purpose; Collaborative Partnerships

January 17, 2025 - Part 4: Continuous Quality Improvement; Program Management; Sustainability
